Ha Long Bay with photos

3 days and 2 nights cruising around Ha Long Bay and one night on Cat Ba Island. What an awesome part of the world, beautiful. A million other tourists also enjoyed it. The weather was unseasonably cold however so it was a bit hard to get warm.

We had a leisurely cruise down Ha Long Bay stopped for a stroll through a huge limestone cave, back on the boat for our overnight sleepover. Next morning changed over to an different boat for our visit to Cat Ba island where we stayed in a bungalow on the beachfront. Enjoyed a campfire on the beach and headed back to Hanoi the next day. Cooking lesson on the boat, spring rolls. It was nice to get back to our Hanoi hotel and get into a nice warm bed.

Sorry about the lack of photos- unfortunately they won't load so when we can load them we will.-=
The fleet of boats in Ha Long Bay are now all painted white after a local committee decision.

The roof or no so sunny sundeck.
The floating fishing villages that are everywhere in Ha Long Bay. Each house has at least 1 or 2 or 3 dogs, most have a tv dish.

Exit to Surprising Cave or Amazing cave.
