We left Hue yesterday right on time at 4:30 pm and arrived in Hanoi again on time at 7:30 am overnight sleeper bus. We arrived at the Hanh Cafe bus stop and the bus arrived, we loaded the bikes and were the only ones on the bus and then we drove for about 2 minutes to the main stop where we took on passengers and lots of baggage and even a dog in a small wire basket and pups in a small stiff plastic shopping basket. We eventually left Hue at about 5:30. The bus driver tried to leave without all the passengers , a mother had sent her 8 year old son to a book shop across the road. When we roared into gear and drove out of the bus stop I got down and tapped the driver on the shoulder and he waved me away. His mother then appeared beside me and started to I guess explain. She got off and we drove down the road did our U turn and stopped in the middle of enormous traffic where they got back on the bus.
