On the Road Sat. & Sun

Well we cycled from Vung tau to Ba Ria via Long Dien after we got lost and couldn,t find anywhere to stay. There are no hotels is rural hamlets as it seems. We are in Phuoc Buu for one of many extended lunch breaks we intend to take to break up our days and to cycle out of the midday heat.

We had a great breakfast by just sitting down at an open air kitchen and they just gave us the same as they regulars.
We have rearranged our trip and now intend to use the train for some of the trip as our stay in Singapore has enhanced our holiday but limited our possible kms on the bikes.

Hydrofoil HCMC to Vung Tau

Well we got packed , said goodbye to Jessica and headed off for the 9:30 Hydrofoil. Lucky the timetable had changed and now it was 9:45 as we missed the earlier deadline. 250 000 for an adult and 200 000 for a bicycle . It was a lot more difficult than that, but we got on bikes and all.
The disembarking was very exciting as we had to pass through 3 other hydrofoils all tied up between us and the wharf.
